Description

Blower Door airtightness test to the EN ISO 9972 standard for the verification of whole building airtightness, as part of the construction of a detached single-family home in La Nou de Gaià, Tarragona, designed to PHI Low-energy building standard.

The house was designed by Divers Arquitectura.

Two tests were carried out: during construction phase, and following completion. For the preliminary test, leaks were detected with a handheld smoke generator and anemometer. 

The final result of N50=0.99 ach, is well below the minimum requirements of the Spanish building regulations CTE DB HE-1 2019 of N50 = 6 ach.
