The Blower Door test is a quality control tool, involving the on-site measurement of air infiltration during the construction phase, on completion or in existing buildings. High levels of air tightness, accompanied by a controlled ventilation system, reduces energy consumption, improves the thermal and acoustic comfort of buildings, and reduces maintenance costs due to pathologies and moisture damage.
