Energy consultancy and M&E engineering for a new build 400m2 single-family home in Padstow, Cornwall, UK. Praxis has carried out the design of the thermal envelope and the airtight and vapour control layer, together with dynamic hygrothermal analysis using the WUFI tool for the assessment of risk from moisture damage.  We’ve also undertaken analysis and calculation of construction details for the reduction of thermal bridges, verification of compliance with the UK Building Regulations BR Part L1A, advice on low-environmental impact materials, and design and specification of M & E systems: mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, space heating, hot water production, and solar PV.
